Amy was receognized as a Paul Harris Plus Four Multiple Award Recipient!      Vinita Rotary Donates $2,000 to Salvation Army Backpack Program!       Craig County Salvation Army's Connee Camp delights in accepting a second donation for the Army's Backpack Program from Rotarian Joe Gardner. Outgoing President Rod Couch received a plaque of appreciation for his dedicated leadership and service during 2008-2009.     Vinita Annual City Wide Cleanup Day   Vinita Rotary Club - June 6, 2009    Vinita Rotarians Brenda and Dee Robison Dr Russell Kohl and his son Rylan    Other Rotarians that participated putting service above self included Jack Nichols, Hi Camp, Chris Barlass, David Svedman, Linda Scott, Bob Young, Don Daniels, Bob Green and Merle Dixon.   Senior Scholarship Awards   Vinita Rotary Meeting - May 20, 2009    Rotary President Rod Couch congratulates this year's receipents of Vinita Rotary Club's Annual Senior Student Scholarship Award, Laura Heltzen and Bailey Moorhead.   Laura received a scholarship of $500; Bailey was awarded scholarships of $4,000.   Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK)   Vinita Rotary Meeting - April 15, 2009    Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), a guest of Vinita Rotary and one of the steadfast conservatives in Congress, shown here with Vinita Rotary President Rodney Couch, spoke following a noon luncheon at the First United Methodist Church. A large group of citizens gathered for a Town Hall Meeting and heard Senator Coburn speak of his efforts to cut government spending by reforming earmarks, eliminating waste and duplication and promoting limited government under the Constitution. As a medical doctor, Senator Coburn is an articulate opponent of government controlled healthcare. Governor Ron Visits Vinita   District Governor Ron Peterson Congratulates President Rod Couch    District Governor, Ron Peterson congratulates Vinita Rotary President Rodney Couch, for meeting stellar club performances. President Couch and his board demonstrated "Service Above Self" with their many community, international, and Rotary projects.     Rotary Donation to Healing Waters Project  The Vinita Rotary Club made a donation Wednesday to the Healing Waters Project, presented by Vinita Rotary Club President Rod Couch (left) to Rotarian Wayne Blackmon, who accepted on behalf of the project. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled military personnel and veterans.   Photo by Angela Martin         Rotary Presents Dictionaries to Will Rogers 3rd Graders Vinita Rotarians Jeanne Bussey and Rod Couch present dictionaries Wednesday to Will Rogers third-graders Newley Michael and Kayla Rivera.
